Problem with, FIREFOX!?

Postby Ampersan5340 » Mon Jan 25, 2010 4:00 pm

So I downloaded the new version of Firefox that Chris suggested since he thinks IE is terrible.

Now this may not be an issue but I just wanted the moderators to know, just in case.

When I log on or change pages or refresh or whatever, the page goes white and all the menus are very basic. It looks like a very raw version of the forum.

Just thought you should know.

Yeah that happens occasionally to me. Just refresh the page. Or, wait for it to go normal. That usually happens if I'm using Bittorrent or ftp downloading.

i belive that is the page without the css styling, what you are looking at is the basic html markup.

Right. Pages are built up of simple HTML code. All the colors, images, positioning, etc. comes from stylesheets, that are downloaded with the page. I can only imagine your problem is coming from network connection as well. Maybe you can optimize the caching of the page in your browser under Preferences > Advanced > Network?

Or, OmniWeb. The superior mac browser. For the times I use a mac (video editing, Photoshopping, ect) OmniWeb is great because It doesn't take up much RAM. Compared to firefox, ugghhhhhh
